Our SHIPPING POLICIES

What are the shipping fees for continental U.S.A. orders?

NON-GLASS ITEMS: $12 for UPS if it's a single item, contains no glass, is under 10 pounds and not oversize
If it's over 10 pounds, oversize or outside of the continental USA we charge actual shipping cost which depends on the weight, size, and your location.

GLASS ITEMS: FLAT FEE when shipped within the continental USA:
**$12 for small items under 2 pounds
** $27 for all distillation kits or any glassware or glass-containing items between 2 and 15 pounds
** Actual UPS fee will varyfor Rotary Evaporators or glassware containing items weighing over 15 pounds, oversize, or both

WILL YOU SHIP POSTAL? We don't ship anything via postal or by any carrier other than UPS inside the USA.

WHAT ABOUT INSURANCE? Instead of having you pay for breakage insurance
(which is usually useless with shipments containing glass) we pack with lots of bubble wrap/ heavy duty packaging and cushy materials inside to keep things intact under the worst of circumstances.
With that in mind if anything gets broken we will repair or replace it at our own expense if it arrives broken- you have 5 days from date of receipt to email us with a photo, and we'll replace it instantly!

**If the item is expensive you can request loss insurance**
If the item is an expensive one, it is a good idea for you to ask us to insure the shipment for loss
although in 25 years of using UPS we've never had anything lost. We pass on the exact insurance fee to you if you request insurance.
In any case, it's up to you

AIR freight or Shipment to Alaska or Hawaii will cost somewhat more than the above rates...please inquire.
